• Become part of the story - Run a school supplies drive: This is covered in detail on the following linked page on developafrica.org - Collect school supplies / How to run a pencil or school supplies drive.  Already did this once?  Great!  Make this an annual event.
   
• Purchase pencils (and other supplies) on Amazon and send them to us
   
• Help ship a drum of school supplies: Donate $200
   
• Help us sell Pencil Project books - contact us and tell us how many you can help us sell in your group / at your office/church/organization
   
• We are looking for Pencil Project Ambassadors who will be responsible for coordinating/promoting drives and/or raising funds.  Interested?  Let us know.
   
• Sign up for Develop Africa's mailing list.
   
• Join The Pencil Project Facebook group (general FaceBook group about collecting school supplies/running school supplies drives... and the Pencil Project book)
   
• Take part in 5K walk/run and ask your friends/family to sponsor you - help ship supplies 
   
• Donate your birthday or anniversary to Develop Africa.
   
• Read the book - then send us a written or video review.

Students from the East Islip High School in Long Island, New York have done 7 pencil drives - over 7 years. one each year - as part of a social studies Africa Project/outreach activity
