To just say that it is an inspiring story will be an understatement

I have read the entire book in one sitting this morning. I actually could not stop reading until I reached the end. To just say that it is an inspiring story will be an understatement. This book is a tool for everybody to ignite a light to brighten up a path for others to see and walk towards their potential. The benefit of helping others will always come back home to its source for certain!  I hope that this book and story will find its way to the desks and hearts of many kids, not in the USA, but to desks all around the world, especially in Africa.

Jared decided he wanted to make a difference and he did.

Jared said: "I have chosen this project because the struggle that the kids in Africa have with education concerns me, and I want to make it easier for them to learn. "

The students were delighted to receive all of the supplies that Jared collected.  Thank you, Jared, for making a difference!

-- Sydney Smith, English clergyman and writer

"Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does."

Choose One Thing to Care About

A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.

She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”
